Ciano Water Foam S Black Ciano Water Foam is the replacement mechanical filter foam for Ciano aquarium filters. This high-quality filter foam has a density of 30 PPI (pores per inch) which makes it perfect for mechanically or prefiltering water before it enters the biological and chemical filter medias. IMPORTANT NOTE: • When cleaning your filter, do not use raw tap water as the chlorine and chloramines present will remove the good nitrifying bacteria that has colonised in there.
